Anne Frank Exhibition
Last week a number of students took part in the Anne Frank Exhibition ‘A History for Today’
A group of Year 8 students were trained as ambassadors and tour guides for the week long exhibition. During the week, they gave year 7s a guided tour of the exhibition. Local primary schools also visited the exhibition.
The purpose of the exhibition is to educate young people in the dangers and harm caused by discrimination, prejudice and treating others differently. This is the third year that a Stopsley has hosted this exhibition and we hope to continue our positive relationship with the Anne Frank Trust providing important educational experiences for our students.
e quotes from our tour guides last year:
"I have gained so much confidence throughout this experience, especially teaching Year 6 primary school students" Year 8
"It really put into perspective what effect we can have on people" Year 8
